Tourist flow from Japan to Uzbekistan up by 53.4%
From January to April 2025, 6,800 Japanese citizens visited Uzbekistan, Kursiv.uz reported citing the National Statistics Committee. This marks a 53.4% increase compared to the same period last year.

Most Japanese visitors came for tourism — 5,900 people.

Another 589 citizens came to visit relatives, while 221 traveled for business purposes.

The number of tourists from France also increased — nearly 6,800 French citizens visited Uzbekistan during the same period.
