At 08:58 this morning, an earthquake struck Uzbekistan. The epicenter was in the Marhamat district of Andijan region, where the tremor reached a magnitude of 4.
The quake was also felt in other parts of the country: in Andijan region — 3 magnitude (29 km away), in Fergana region — 2–3 magnitude (45 km), and in Namangan region — 2 magnitude (72 km).
The epicenter was located 268 km southeast of Tashkent. Authorities are currently monitoring the situation and collecting additional information.
