In Uzbekistan, the participation of women-led enterprises in economic processes is steadily increasing. According to the latest data published by the State Statistics Committee, at the end of 2024 more than 20,000 small enterprises and micro-firms managed by women received a net profit of 4.2 trillion soums. This figure clearly shows that the efficiency of women’s entrepreneurship is growing.
During the reporting period, the average net profit per enterprise amounted to 202.6 million soums. This indicator demonstrates that businesses under women’s leadership have their place in the market, showing competitiveness and efficiency in their activities.
Experts emphasize that the conditions and opportunities created by the state have played an important role in achieving such results. In particular, entrepreneurship support programs, financial loans, grants, tax benefits, and various organizational resources allocated specifically for women have significantly facilitated the process of doing business.
Enterprises under women’s leadership are operating in various sectors of the country’s economy. They are successfully implementing projects in such areas as services, manufacturing, trade, agriculture, and education. This indicates that the role of women in the socio-economic processes of the country is steadily strengthening.
