Teachers to receive major benefits on mortgages and education

During a meeting with teachers and mentors in Bo‘stonliq district of Tashkent region, Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced new initiatives to support educators, uz24.uz reported.

Starting next year, top-category teachers with at least 15 years of experience will have 25% of their mortgage down payment covered by the government. Additionally, teachers will receive a 30% discount on tuition if their children enroll in public universities.

Teachers can receive preferential loans of up to 10 million UZS for purchasing computers. Fees for public services will be reduced by half. Educators from top-rated schools and universities will receive 15–20% travel discounts within Uzbekistan.
