According to the analysis conducted by the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR), the Business Activity Index (BAI) in Uzbekistan in September 2025 was 1162 units. This indicator increased by 16.2% compared to August and by 18.5% compared to the same period last year.
What does growth depend on?
According to experts, several factors influenced the growth of entrepreneurship:
2.3% increase in the number of banking operations;
38 percent increase in trading on the commodity exchange;
Activity in trademark registration increased by 13.8 percent.
However, despite this, a 1.3% decrease in the number of operating enterprises was recorded. This did not significantly affect the overall indicator.
Which regions are leading?
In terms of regions, Andijan region ranks first in terms of business activity with a growth of 44.6 percent. After that:
Khorezm - 42.9%,
Jizzakh - 41.8%,
Tashkent region - 41.3%.
These results indicate that the economic situation in the regions is improving.
