Uzhydromet warned residents of Surkhandarya about dangerous dust storms

Uzhydromet issued a warning on November 3 about increased winds in Surkhandarya region and some mountainous areas of the republic.

According to the organization, wind speeds during the day will reach 13-18 meters per hour, and dust storms are possible in some regions.

"Residents and guests of the region should take precautions during strong winds and not stay outdoors for long," the message says.

Experts also recommend reducing activities in open areas and wearing masks when going outside.

It was noted that strong winds and dust storms can be dangerous for health and negatively affect the respiratory system.
