According to the Presidential Decree "On Urgent Measures to Improve the Environmental Situation in the City of Tashkent," construction sites will undergo mandatory comprehensive inspections.
In particular, on an area of 500 sq.m and more in the city of Tashkent, an assessment will be carried out according to the following requirements: at least 25% of the area should be landscaped, water sprayers should be installed, and wheel washing pools should be built in the entrance and exit lanes.
In addition, it has been established that vehicles must be covered with tarpaulin or PVC coating during construction and waste transportation.
The installation of background monitoring stations on construction sites with an area of more than 1,000 sq.m. and their integration with the Committee for Ecology will be the main requirement for continuing construction.
Also, the restriction on the time for individuals to use drinking water for watering trees and shrubs on their land will be lifted - in the spring and summer seasons (from 00:00 to 05:00).
At the same time, the current restriction on the use of drinking water for other purposes is maintained. Separate water reservoirs are provided for irrigation in apartment buildings.
