Uzbekistan Ranks in Global Top 10 of GovTech Index

Uzbekistan has ranked 9th in the World Bank's GovTech Maturity Index (GTMI) 2025 results, digital.uz reported.

Compared to 2020, the country climbed 71 positions, raising its index score from 0.617 to 0.958. As a result, Uzbekistan strengthened its status in the “High GovTech Maturity” category (Category A).

The index evaluates the level of digital transformation in public administration across four key areas. These include foundational government systems, online public services, citizens’ digital participation, and enablers supporting GovTech development.

As of the end of 2025, Uzbekistan ranked 1st in Central Asia and entered the global TOP-10 list alongside countries such as South Korea, Australia, India, and Canada.
