In Tashkent city, Amir Temur avenue will be temporarily closed along the full perimeter from March 23 to April 7, 2026. At this time, the metro exits leading to the avenue will also be temporarily limited.
As part of the improvement works in Yunusabad district, pedestrian walkway surfaces will be repaired and partially renewed, engineering communications and the water supply system will be modernized. Additionally, greening works will be carried out: existing trees will not be harmed, on the contrary, additional seedlings will be planted, and greening will be expanded.
According to the city administration, traffic on adjoining streets and the possibility of stopping along the road will remain as usual. The goal is to renew the historical and engineering infrastructure in the city center, as well as to improve the area in a modern appearance.
Therefore, from March 23 to April 7, it is recommended to be cautious when moving by metro along the exits leading to Amir Temur avenue.
