Artificial Rain Initiative Launches in Tashkent

In Tashkent, a plan to implement artificial rain technology is being developed. This matter is outlined in the President’s decree dated March 25 of this year, which includes the "Measures to implement the national project 'Clean Air' aimed at improving atmospheric quality."
According to the decree, in Tashkent city and Tashkent region, in arid areas, special equipment will be installed, and an artificial rain calling operation will be initiated. The full implementation of the project is scheduled by October 1, 2027.
Through this technology, it is intended to reduce the amount of dust and harmful substances in the air and improve atmospheric quality in the short term. Additionally, it is planned to increase humidity levels under drought conditions.
As stated in the document, the implementation of this initiative is assigned to the Ecology Committee, the Academy of Sciences, and the Ministry of Higher Education. They are tasked with studying foreign experience and introducing effective solutions.
Thus, in the coming years, residents of Tashkent will be able to experience the benefits of new technologies in providing clean air and water. This initiative will not only address environmental issues but also significantly enhance the urban environment and quality of life.
