Tokayev’s visit to Uzbekistan ceremonially began in Bukhara

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in our country on an official visit.
The high-ranking guest was personally welcomed by Shavkat Mirziyoyev at Bukhara International Airport. A ceremonial reception was held here, reflecting the friendly and strategic relations between the two states.

During the ceremony, performances of national music, songs, and dances were presented. The state flags of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan were also raised, and an honor guard lined up in formation. The national anthems of both countries were performed by a military orchestra, which gave the event an even more official and ceremonial atmosphere.

According to the plan, today the leaders of the two countries will hold bilateral negotiations. In addition, they will get acquainted with the rich historical heritage of Bukhara and visit the city’s famous monuments. It is also planned to review the activities of industrial enterprises and other official events.
This visit is expected to take the cooperation between the two countries to a new level.
