In Uzbekistan on April 17 cases of rain turning into snow are being recorded

According to “Uzgidromet”, on April 17 the weather across Uzbekistan will be unstable. Rain is possible in some areas, and thunderstorms may occur in others. At the same time, cool and humid weather will persist in most parts of the country.
In Tashkent city, the weather will be changeable. Short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible. The wind will change direction to the east and blow at 3–8 m/s. Temperature will be 9–11° at night and 14–16° during the day.
In Karakalpakstan and Khorezm, it will mostly be cloudy, but no precipitation is expected. Westerly wind 7–12 m/s. Temperature 5–10° at night, 12–17° during the day.
In Bukhara and Navoi, the weather will also remain mostly dry and changeable. No rain is expected. Wind from the west at 9–14 m/s. Temperature 6–11° at night, 15–20° during the day.
In Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh and Samarkand regions, the situation is slightly less favorable. Short-term rain and local thunderstorms are possible. Wind 7–12 m/s. Temperature 6–11° at night, 13–18° during the day.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya, the weather will remain relatively stable. No precipitation is expected. Wind 7–12 m/s. Temperature 6–11° at night, 17–22° during the day.
In the Fergana Valley (Andijan, Namangan, Fergana), rain is possible again. Short-term precipitation and local thunderstorms are expected. Wind 5–10 m/s. Temperature 8–13° at night, 13–18° during the day.
In mountainous areas, the situation is the most severe. Rain occurs from time to time, and in high mountains it may turn into snow. There is also a risk of mudflows and floods. Wind 7–12 m/s. Temperature -3…+2° at night, +3…+8° during the day.
Earlier, “Uzgidromet” warned about humid and cool air masses entering on April 14–17. Because of this, temperature drops, rainfall, and snowfall in mountainous regions are being recorded. Even on April 16, snow was observed in the mountains of Zomin and Bakhmal districts of Jizzakh region.
