It became known which country Uzbeks travel to the most
In January-March 2026, more than 1.63 million citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to foreign countries for tourism purposes. According to the National Statistics Committee, this figure increased by 111.6 thousand compared to the same period last year.

The main part of the trips falls on neighboring countries. The most visited destination was Kyrgyzstan, where more than 660 thousand Uzbeks visited.

Kazakhstan and Tajikistan were next. Saudi Arabia was also one of the most popular destinations. Russia, Turkey, the UAE, China, Thailand and Egypt were also actively chosen countries.

During this period, Uzbekistan also received foreign tourists. It was reported that a total of more than 2.87 million tourists from 164 countries visited the country.
