It was reported that heavy rain did not affect the operation of the Chorsu metro station

On May 3, heavy rainfall was observed in regions of the republic, including Tashkent. This situation led to the circulation of videos on social media showing flooding around the Chorsu metro station.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations provided an official statement regarding this situation.

According to the ministry, although water flows were directed toward the metro, the majority of it was diverted through the irrigation and drainage system. Forces and equipment from the Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department were deployed to prevent water accumulation.

It is noted that the Chorsu metro station is currently operating as usual.

Train traffic continues uninterrupted according to the established schedule.
