By order of the Minister of Health, the list of medicines to be provided to the population free of charge has been approved. This document is scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2027.
It is reported that the list was coordinated with the State Health Insurance Fund. It covers 69 types of medicines for the treatment of various diseases.
In particular, medications for oncological, mental, cardiovascular, and endocrine diseases have been included. The list features preparations such as Aspirin, Bisoprolol, Omeprazole, Tramadol, Ambroxol, Potassium Iodide, and Heparin.
According to the information, this program will be implemented based on the "reimbursement" principle. This means that the costs of medicines prescribed by a doctor will be covered.
Under this system, patients will be able to receive medicines free of charge from contracted pharmacies using an electronic prescription issued by a family doctor.
