Keith Kellogg: The US is ready to increase the pressure of sanctions against Russia
The New York Post reports that the US special representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, has announced his intention to stop the war by increasing sanctions pressure on Russia.

According to Kellogg, the restrictions imposed on Moscow so far are not enough. He assessed these sanctions as "a three on a 10-point scale" and noted that restrictions on oil production and exports against Russia could be further tightened.

Kellogg also noted that not only economic, but also military and diplomatic pressure is needed to end the war as quickly as possible. According to him, the Russian government is not interested in stopping hostilities yet, because they are not afraid of large losses.

“Russia has suffered enormous losses in history”

Kellogg cited a historical example in this regard, recalling that Russia lost 700,000 people in the Battle of Stalingrad during World War II. According to him, such losses are not new for Russia.

Trump's special representative also expressed confidence that former President Donald Trump will be able to find a solution to stop military operations in Ukraine. According to him, Trump has made effective decisions in foreign policy and has proven himself in this regard.

Kellogg criticized the Joe Biden administration's policy of assisting Ukraine, noting that Washington has not put enough pressure on Kiev. According to him, the United States has so far only provided material assistance, but this is not a full-fledged strategy.

“This is not a strategy, but a sticker on the bumper,” he said of the Biden administration's policy on Ukraine.
