The Prime Minister of Italy, Meloni, is coming to Uzbekistan.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will visit Uzbekistan on May 28–29. This was reported by the press service of the Italian government. The announcement stated that negotiations and meetings will take place in Samarkand.

Originally, Meloni’s visit to Uzbekistan was scheduled for April 25–26. She was also expected to attend the first “Central Asia — Italy” summit in Kazakhstan’s capital, Astana.

However, on April 21, due to the death of Pope Francis, Meloni’s visits to both Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan were postponed. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
