Errors found in California bar exam
In California, errors were once again discovered in the grading of the bar exam held in February. As a result, the results of three applicants were reviewed, and their status was changed from “failed” to “passed.”

Previously, 243 people had also been considered as having initially failed the exam, but after corrections were made, it turned out that they had actually passed. Thus, the overall pass rate rose to 65 percent. This is much higher than the usual 35 percent rate.

The February exam was held for the first time in a mixed format — both online and in classrooms. However, many students complained about technical problems, computer malfunctions, and disorder during the exam.

To check the errors, a special company was hired in June, with 185,000 dollars spent on this work. In total, about 6 million dollars are being spent to resolve the problems of the February exam. The California Supreme Court ordered the July exam to be conducted under the old system, and this time no serious problems were recorded.
