The poverty rate in Russia has decreased over the past 10 years

It was reported that the poverty rate in Russia has significantly decreased over the past decade, falling from 11.3% to 7.2%. This was emphasized by Vladimir Putin in his speeches and statements at the plenary session of the SCO.

Representatives of more than 70 countries are participating in the meeting, where they are familiarizing themselves with the strategies for the economic, technological, and environmental development of Russia. Putin emphasized that conditions will be created for the widespread use of drone technologies in combating fires in agricultural lands and forest areas. This will allow saving resources and promptly responding to emergencies.

Also, the "Trans-Arctic Corridor" will be developed in the country - this route will allow for the full use of the potential of Russian rivers and will significantly optimize the transport network. The resumption of air traffic between Russia and the DPRK is also planned, and the bridge under construction over the Tumannaya River is expected to be commissioned next year.
