The French National Assembly expressed no confidence in Prime Minister François Bayrou’s government, rejecting it by 364 votes. Bayrou will now submit his resignation to President Emmanuel Macron.

Experts say France faces major financial problems. At the same time, the main concerns of the population remain the cost of living, security and immigration issues.
