Laser attack attempt on helicopter carrying Trump

In Washington, it became known about an attempted attack using a laser device on the Marine One helicopter, which was carrying U.S. President Donald Trump.

According to NBC News, citing court documents, the incident occurred on Saturday evening. Secret Service agent Diego Santiago noticed a suspicious person looking toward the presidential aircraft on Constitution Avenue.

Reportedly, Santiago directed a red-light emitting laser pointer towards Marine One. He then aimed the device at the helicopter’s pilot, Jacob Samuel Winkler.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
