On September 25, at 06:20, an earthquake occurred in the territory of Kyrgyzstan. The tremors were also felt in Uzbekistan, the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring reported.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located 246 km southeast of Tashkent, in the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan. Its magnitude was 3, depth 5 km, and sensitivity at the epicenter was 4 points.
In Uzbekistan, the earthquake was felt as follows: in the city of Kuvasay - 2 points (23 km), in the Fergana district - 2-3 points (14 km), in the city of Fergana - 2 points (23 km).
There were no reports of casualties or injuries as a result of the incident. The earthquake parameters are being clarified.
