The process of childbirth was broadcast live on Twitch for the first time

For the first time on the Twitch platform, childbirth was broadcast live. The stream was hosted by the famous streamer Fandy — known for her streams of World of Warcraft, Overwatch, and League of Legends, according to the Rozetked.me website.

The broadcast took place on the night of October 7 to 8 (MSK time). The birth occurred at Fandy's own home, in a small inflatable pool. Before the stream, she wrote the following on social media:

Hello, Twitter! My water broke, so it’s time :) I’m going live now!

This is not the first broadcast of childbirth on Twitch, but it went down in history as the first time by a well-known content creator.

During the stream, Twitch CEO Dan Clancy also participated in the chat. Given his positive comments, it became clear that the stream did not violate the platform’s rules.

The recording of the broadcast is still available — it has been watched by over 660,000 people.
