The US will deploy a monitoring group to Israel

According to NBC News, Washington is working on a plan to deploy up to 200 American servicemen to Israeli territory to monitor the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. Sources say they will provide practical assistance in logistics, transport, engineering, and planning. Most importantly, it was clarified that "there will be no American soldiers in the Gaza Strip."

This initiative will be implemented in the format of a civilian-military coordination center. After the announcement of the agreement, the mechanism was activated, and it is noted that part of the US troops have already arrived in Israel. The group supports the flow of humanitarian aid and monitors the uninterrupted operation of the conflict prevention system.

Officials recalled that the American military had previously participated in various missions in Israel, including missile defense exercises. The United States also supported de-escalation channels between Israel and Hezbollah during the ceasefire in Lebanon last year.

Meanwhile, the Israeli government approved an agreement with Hamas: in exchange for the release of hostages from Gaza, the Israeli side is ready to release 250 prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment and 1,700 Palestinians detained since October 7, 2023. The document also includes provisions such as expanding humanitarian aid deliveries, disarmament of Hamas, and the phased withdrawal of Israeli troops from the sector.

The US President also published information about the agreement on his Truth Social page. In conclusion, Washington's special group in Israel is aimed at collecting the "mosaic" behind the front lines - that is, systematizing humanitarian work, monitoring compliance with the terms of the agreement, and preventing possible misunderstandings in advance.
