Russian strikes left Kyiv in darkness
Russia attacked Kyiv at night with missiles and drones. As a result, much of the capital lost power, and nine people were injured. In some districts, water was temporarily cut off.

In Zaporizhzhia, a seven-year-old child was killed by a drone strike, and three people were injured. The regional head said the city faced heavy attacks.

In recent weeks, Russia has intensified strikes on Ukraine’s energy facilities. President Volodymyr Zelensky called on Western countries to deliver air defense systems quickly.

According to the Energy Ministry, repair work is ongoing. Houses and energy facilities in Kyiv were damaged.
