In the Spanish city of Valencia, a very unusual circumstance was discovered - a man's body was found in an apartment where he had been lying for 15 years. This was reported by Levante-EMV.
According to reports, the deceased's neighbors haven't seen him for many years. Some thought he had been placed in a nursing home, while others speculated that his relatives had taken him away.
The body of this person, named Antonio F., was found accidentally - due to heavy rains, water entered the apartments through the terrace, which caused concern among the neighbors. After they contacted the police, firefighters entered the house and found a skeleton lying in clothing in the bedroom.
According to preliminary information from investigators, Antonio F. died of natural causes. She was born in 1939 and had no contact with her ex-husband and children.
It turned out that the deceased had accumulated a debt of 11 thousand euros for utility payments. After the court decision, his bank accounts were frozen, but debts were partially repaid through the pension, and he officially continued to "receive" the pension.
