At the State Hermitage in St. Petersburg, a unique piece of Fabergé's jewelry from the early 20th century - a Rothschild egg clock - will be re-exhibited after restoration. The project was implemented within the framework of the "Connection of Times - Connection of Technologies" program in partnership with Samsung.
Created in 1902 by master Mikhail Perkhin, these clocks are distinguished not only by their artistry but also by their technical complexity. Its mechanism contains a small songbird, a clock organ, and pink transparent enamel. After restoration, the bird sings again, opens its beak, moves its tail, and produces musical sounds through the tubes. Now the exhibit will be placed in the Hall of Charles Fabergé in the Hermitage General Staff building.
