The solution to the centuries-old mystery of the location of the tomb of Cheops may be found in the near future. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the Secretary General of the High Council for Ancient Monuments of Egypt, archaeologist Muhammad Ismail Khalid.
"No one knows exactly where Cheops's grave is located. It is still difficult to say whether it is inside the pyramid or not. "New technologies can allow us to determine whether there is a burial there," the archaeologist said.
Recall that the Pyramid of Cheops is recognized as the largest and oldest among the famous structures in Giza. The initial height of the Miracle of Light reached 147 meters.
Experts believe that Cheops's tomb may be hidden inside the pyramid, and it may be possible to find it in the near future.
