Germans are tired of the government - survey results announced

In Germany, the majority of the population is dissatisfied with the government's activities. According to a survey conducted by the Infratest Dimap Institute for the ARD TV channel, 76% of respondents are dissatisfied with the work of the coalition government that came to power six months ago. Only 22 percent of citizens positively assessed the government's policy.

For comparison, in June, more than half of the population - about 50% of respondents - supported the government's activities. However, after several months, confidence has sharply decreased.

The survey also noted a decline in the ratings of Chancellor Friedrich Mers and Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil. Only 26% of people expressed satisfaction with the activities of both politicians. The rating of Minister of Internal Affairs Alexander Dobrindt has not changed.

58% of respondents called Germany's foreign policy uncertain, and the economic situation is even more alarming. Only 29% of respondents considered the stability of the country's economy "safe."

According to analysts, this mood may indicate the beginning of dramatic changes in the German political arena.
