Uzbek language is taught in 141 schools in Kazakhstan

Cooperation in the field of education between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan is reaching a new level. Currently, more than 280 cooperation agreements and memorandums are in force between the two countries, in which more than 60 higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan are participating.

In Uzbekistan, faculties of Kazakh language and literature have been established at the Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University, Karakalpak State University, Gulistan State University, as well as Nukus, Jizzakh, and Navoi Pedagogical Institutes.

In Kazakhstan, the Uzbek language is taught in 141 schools. In these schools, 89,038 students study in Uzbek in 5,814 classes. According to experts, these figures create great opportunities not only for cultural ties, but also for deepening humanitarian, scientific, and economic cooperation between the two countries in the future.

This cooperation in the field of education serves to train a new generation of specialists, strengthen regional integration, and further strengthen friendship between the two peoples.
