Hackers in Korea hacked 120,000 cameras and sold intimate videos

The South Korean police arrested four individuals who hacked 120,000 surveillance cameras and sold intimate videos through foreign websites. According to them, the cameras were primarily used in homes and hospitals, exploiting vulnerabilities. The hackers exchanged the videos for cryptocurrency, earning between 35 million won and 18 million won.

The police took measures against the distribution of the videos and recommended that the public regularly change passwords for their cameras. Currently, three of the four suspects are in custody.
