The Ecuadorian Prosecutor's Office officially confirmed the arrest of the two suspects. A local judge noted that sufficient evidence has been gathered against them. At the same time, the investigation revealed that the suspects have been attempting to evade justice. It was reported that one of the individuals was identified using video surveillance footage that analyzed motorcycle movements.
