In the city of Harbin, known as the "winter capital" of China, a giant snowman, the height of a six-story building, has been erected. Nodir's snow sculpture attracted attention with its creation in just 11 days. This was reported by The Sun.
As is known, an international festival is held annually in the city of Harbin, known throughout the world for its snow and ice sculpture. However, this year residents and tourists were even more amazed by the giant snowman, which is almost 19 meters high. With its scale and finish, it became not just a simple installation, but a symbol of the winter season.
It is noted that about 33.5 thousand cubic meters of snow, prepared with the help of special equipment, were brought for the erection of the monument. In the initial stage, the snow was temporarily placed on a wooden structure, and the main shaping and decoration work was carried out by sculptors manually - with the help of cutters and special tools.
A large team of 100 workers and 64 sculptors worked on the project. The construction process was broadcast live by the organizers, allowing spectators to observe the creation of the giant snowman in real time.
This giant snowman also caused a great stir on social media. Some users called it "not just a snowman, but a real winter monument," while others rated the project as "the highest energy of the winter season."
