Snowstorm in the US Leaves Over a Million Households Without Power

A snowstorm in the southeastern regions of the United States has caused major disruptions in electricity supply. As a result, over a million consumers have been left without power. This was reported by Podrobno.uznewsreports.
According to the PowerOutage monitoring service, outages have been recorded in 1.07 million households. The most severe situation is in the state of Tennessee, where more than 340,000 subscribers have lost power. Significant outages have also been observed in Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, Texas, and Kentucky.
Earlier, it was reported that Afghanistan also faced issues with the delivery of imported electricity from Uzbekistan. Heavy snow and wind damaged the power transmission lines on the Puli-Khumri – Kabul route, temporarily halting part of the import. As a result, mass power outages occurred in several provinces.
