Trump made a harsh threat against Iran: they will be left without electricity for ten years

Donald Trump, President of the United States, made a very harsh statement regarding Iran, saying that by striking the country’s electrical infrastructure it could be left without electricity for a long time. He said this in an interview with Fox News.
According to Trump, such a possible attack could cause serious damage to Iran’s energy system, and the country could be left without electricity supply for many years.
“We can strike them. We will do it in such a way that they will be without electricity for ten years,” he said.
The American leader also noted that if such a scenario is implemented, Iran would be forced to completely rebuild its energy infrastructure. According to him, this process would lead to major economic and technical losses for the country.
Trump also did not hide that the United States could target strategic objects on Iranian territory, including bridges.
Meanwhile, it was reported that on April 11–12, talks were held in Islamabad between delegations of the United States and Iran. From the American side, Vice President J.D. Vance, special envoy Steve Witkoff, and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner took part. The Iranian delegation was led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
After the talks, J.D. Vance said that Iran had not accepted the US conditions and was not ready to give up developing nuclear weapons. Iran’s Foreign Ministry, in turn, acknowledged that disagreements remained on some issues but expressed hope for continued dialogue.
At the moment, the situation remains tense, and a possible further escalation of political confrontation between the sides is expected.
