In Thailand, 72 tigers died due to cat plague

The Independent reported that 72 tigers died as a result of a cat epidemic in Thailand. The incident was recorded in a tourist park in Chiangmai Province, located in the north of the country.
It was reported that panleukopenia, also known as feline plague, has become widespread in the region. Experts emphasize that this infection severely damages the digestive system and immunity of animals.
Due to the situation, the parks temporarily suspended their activities. The surviving tigers were placed under special control, quarantined, and fully vaccinated.
