Is the US behind the attack on the school in Minab?

Reuters, citing two American officials, reports that US military personnel may have been behind the strike on a girls' school in Minab, Iran. It is said that this is the preliminary conclusion of the investigation, and the investigation is not fully completed.
According to sources, new information may later emerge, and it may also be discovered that another party is behind the attack. Therefore, current assessments are considered not as a final conclusion, but as a preliminary version.
Officials did not disclose details on what basis they link the attack to the US military, what ammunition was used, and why the strike was directed at the school. Therefore, the details of the incident remain unclear.
Earlier, The New York Times also wrote that the US may have been involved in this attack. According to the publication, the US Air Force may have targeted an object belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, but the strike may have accidentally hit the school grounds.
So far, the US Department of Defense has officially stated that only an investigation into the incident is underway. Iranian officials reported that 165 people were killed in a missile strike on February 28th at a girls' school in Minab.
