The statement emphasized that the time and conditions for the end of the war are at Tehran's discretion. Thus, the corps responded in its own way to Trump's previous statement about the end of the conflict.
At the same time, the Iranian military stated that if the US and Israel continue their attacks, oil exports from the region will not be allowed. This statement exacerbated new concerns in the energy market.
In particular, speculation about the possibility of a long-term suspension of oil transportation through the Strait of Hormuz affected the world market. As a result, the price of oil exceeded $100 per barrel for the first time since 2022.
