Iran responded to rumors surrounding Khomeini's health

Iranian officials have responded to various speculations regarding the health of the country's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi stated that he is in good health and is fully monitoring the situation.
According to the official statement, Mojtaba Khamenei is currently continuing to lead the government. At the same time, he has not appeared in public since his appointment on March 8.
On March 12, his first address to the people was broadcast on Iranian state television. However, the appeal was read not personally, but by a television announcer.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump expressed doubt that Iran's new top leader was alive. According to some unofficial reports, Mojtaba Khamenei may have been injured during the attack, which killed his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and family members. However, this information has not yet been officially confirmed.
US Secretary of Defense Pete Hagset also suggested that Mojtaba Khamenei may have been wounded and possibly seriously injured.
