Saudi Arabia unveiled a massive stadium

Saudi Arabia has released fresh images showing progress on the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium in Qiddiya, a major entertainment district west of Riyadh. The venue is being considered as one of the potential arenas for the 2034 FIFA World Cup and is designed as a flexible space for both sport and entertainment. Reports Naked-science.ru.
The 45,000-seat stadium, created by architecture firm Populous, will feature a retractable roof and a movable pitch. One side of the arena will include a giant retractable LED wall for live broadcasts, films and laser shows. When opened, it will frame views of the stands and the nearby 200-meter Tuwaiq cliff where the complex is being built.

According to the project details, the stadium is expected to become the first fully integrated venue to combine a retractable roof, pitch and LED wall in one system. That setup is meant to let operators transform the space within hours for different events, from football matches to boxing, esports, concerts and stage productions.
Digital screens will also wrap the outer surfaces of the geometric structure, while towers with sports and leisure facilities are planned around the arena. These areas will be linked by indoor streets lined with LED displays leading visitors to viewing points along the cliff edge. The stadium is also set to serve as a home ground for Saudi Pro League clubs "Al-Hilal" and "Al-Nassr".
