Speaker of the Iranian parliament Mohammad Baghyr Ghalibaf accused the US of planning a covert ground operation in the country.
He emphasized that America is spreading open messages about the negotiations, creating the appearance of diplomatic dialogue, but behind it is preparing a secret military offensive.
"The enemy is pretending to be reporting negotiations and dialogue, but in reality, they are planning a mysterious ground attack. He doesn't know that our forces are waiting for American soldiers to enter our territory, and then we will shoot at them and constantly punish their colleagues in the region," the Iranian state television and radio company said in a statement.
As a reminder, the US and Israel struck targets in Iran, including Tehran, on February 28th. In response, Iran is launching attacks on US military facilities in Israel and the Middle East.
