A 20-year-old footballer was killed in an attack on a football team

Dominik Frimpong, a 20-year-old footballer who played for the Ghanaian club "Berekum Chelsea," died as a result of an armed attack on the team bus.

The incident occurred during the team's return from an away match (0:1) against Samarteks in the 29th round of the Ghanaian championship.

According to the club, a group of masked, armed individuals blocked the team bus during traffic and opened fire. The attack intensified when the driver attempted to turn the vehicle around, and the players and club staff were forced to flee to nearby bushes to save their lives.
