In 2025, Chevrolet Cobalt became one of the most affordable new cars in Kyrgyzstan, reported Kursiv. Its price starts at 1.2 million soms ($13,900).
For this amount, you can purchase a new 2025 Cobalt equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission, a 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 106 horsepower, two airbags, 15-inch steel wheels, and rear drum brakes. The manufacturer provides a three-year or 100,000 km warranty.
Local assembly helped reduce the price. Cobalt, along with Chevrolet Onix and Tracker models, is assembled using a large-node method at a plant in the village of Ak-Suu in the Chuy region. UzAuto Motors supplies the car kits, which significantly reduces logistics and tax costs.
For comparison, the same model in Uzbekistan costs 146.5 million soms ($11,400), which is $2,500 cheaper than in Kyrgyzstan. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
