120 Umo 5 electric vehicles added to Yandex Drive fleet

The Yandex team has announced the expansion of the "Yandex Drive" car-sharing service fleet. Starting April 29, 2026, residents and guests of Moscow and Saint Petersburg can rent 120 "Umo 5" electric vehicles. Ixbt.com reports this.
To use the service, it is enough for a driver to be over 18 years old and hold a Category "B" driver's license.

"Umo 5" is an electric crossover featuring voice control via the "Alisa" artificial intelligence assistant. The driver can ask the assistant to lower a window, turn on the air conditioning, or plot a route.
The multimedia system with a 14.6-inch screen provides access to Yandex services such as "Navigation," "Music," and "Books."

The vehicles are being manufactured at the "Moskvich" plant site. The electric motor, with a capacity of 204 horsepower, operates in four different modes.
The car covers a distance of 420 km in summer and 350 km in winter on a single charge.
Rental prices start at 12 rubles per minute, and the coverage area includes the entire city, including airports. All vehicles are equipped with telematics and sensors that monitor driving style and form a personal rating for the driver.
