Jeep Avenger updated: illuminated grille and improved interior

Jeep has given its compact crossover, the Avenger, its first major update. After three years of success, the vehicle adopts a design language inspired by the new Compass. The main highlight is the brand's iconic seven-slot grille now featuring an LED lighting system, giving the car a unique look at night. This is reported by Autocar.co.uk .
Exterior changes include the removal of chrome accents in favor of a simpler, more modern style. Plastic cladding and skid plates have also been updated to enhance protection in off-road conditions. The all-wheel-drive 4xe version features red accents to distinguish it from other trims.
Inside, material quality has been significantly improved, with softer materials used on door panels and the lower dashboard. The drive mode selector now features a rubberized finish, making it more ergonomic to operate.
Technically, the 99 hp 1.2-liter turbo engine has been modernized. New high-pressure injectors and refined internal components help reduce fuel consumption. The engine now also features a more reliable timing chain system.
The new Avenger is available with gasoline, hybrid, and fully electric (EV) powertrains. The electric version offers a range of 249 miles on a single charge. Manufactured in Poland, the model will arrive in the UK market in September, with prices expected to remain at previous levels.
