Great Wall to sell eight-cylinder Souo S2000 motorcycle in Russia
Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor is preparing to launch its Souo S2000 heavy cruiser in the Russian market, with sales expected to begin by the end of this year. Positioned as a rival to the Honda Gold Wing, the motorcycle features the world's first 2.0-liter horizontally opposed 8-cylinder engine, delivering 154 horsepower through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The premium bike is built on a cast aluminum frame and comes equipped with high-end features, including Brembo brakes, a 12-inch digital dashboard, and heated seats and grips. Currently, the company is finalizing the certification process and seeking local distributors to manage the rollout.
The heavy Souo S2000 motorcycle, produced by China’s Great Wall company, is preparing to enter the Russian market. This model is considered an analogue of the well-known Honda Gold Wing cruisers.

According to Maxim Kadakov, editor-in-chief of the publication Za rulem, the company is currently busy looking for a distributor. If everything goes according to plan, sales of the new motorcycle are expected to begin by the end of this year.
The Souo S2000 stands out for its technical specifications. It is equipped with the world’s first horizontally opposed 8-cylinder engine with a displacement of 2.0 liters and 154 horsepower.
This power unit works together with an 8-speed robotized transmission.
The motorcycle is built on a cast aluminum frame and features a modern Hossack-style suspension and Brembo braking system. Its equipment list also includes a 12-inch digital display, seat and handlebar heating, and a Bluetooth audio system.
