
Official data has been published on which countries citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to most frequently during the first four months of 2025. According to the National Statistics Committee, from January to April of this year, 2 million 116.9 thousand citizens traveled abroad for tourism purposes. Compared to the same period last year, this figure increased by 404.5 thousand people, or 23.6 percent.
During this time, the most visited country was neighboring Kyrgyzstan — 899 thousand Uzbeks traveled there.

Tajikistan – 388.4 thousand people
Kazakhstan – 354.9 thousand people
Saudi Arabia – 133.6 thousand people
Russia – 93.9 thousand people
Turkey – 64.2 thousand people
UAE (Dubai and other cities) – 58.8 thousand people
Egypt (especially Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada) – 22.4 thousand people
Thailand – 15.4 thousand people
Vietnam – 11.4 thousand people
Other countries – 74.6 thousand people
According to the analysis, a large portion of citizens are taking short trips to neighboring countries. At the same time, countries like Saudi Arabia (for religious trips) and popular tourist destinations such as Turkey, the UAE, Thailand, and Egypt remain attractive for Uzbeks.
