On September 1, a grand concert by Andrea Bocelli, one of the most renowned tenors of our time, will take place at the historic Registan Square in Samarkand. The information was announced by the Cultural and Arts Development Foundation.
According to organizers, the famous Italian artist will perform on stage in Uzbekistan for the first time. His concert is expected to attract great attention not only in the country but also worldwide.
The musical evening will also feature special guest soprano Aida Garifullina, the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, and several choir ensembles. The program will include masterpieces of world classical music as well as popular songs.
