Rapper Pi Diddie, accused of violence and human trafficking, has taken the position of assistant chaplain at Fort Dix Federal Prison, Peopletalk reports.
According to insiders, this case is one of the most prestigious in the penitentiary institution and provides special privileges. Pi Diddi will be able to work in an air-conditioned room, as well as participate in the distribution of products received from religious services.
In addition, the rapper will have the opportunity to compile a list of prisoners who can leave the cell to participate in programs or medical examinations. Insiders say that assistant priests can add their acquaintances to these lists, which increases their prison reputation.
Recall that in September 2024, Pi Diddy unexpectedly found himself at the center of the conflict. The rapper was arrested on suspicion of human trafficking and violence. The biggest uproar arose after the rapper's ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, filed a lawsuit. The former assistant of the defendant against the star, rapper Kid Kadi, and others also performed in court.
At the beginning of October, the jury found Pi Diddini guilty of two out of five charges at once. According to the final verdict, the rapper was sentenced to four years and two months in prison. Nevertheless, the bailiff's lawyers tried to reduce his sentence and filed an appeal against the sentence under two clauses. Later, the date of the rapper's release was announced. A few days later, Pi Diddini was transferred to a prison with a lighter regime.
