After a long wait, the film project "Tied Time 4" finally began filming. According to Variety, the new film will be released by Paramount.
During the franchise revival process, US President Donald Trump himself personally recommended restarting the project. The directing of this film was entrusted to Brett Ratner, who directed the first three episodes.
Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker will again play the leading roles in the film. Having gained popularity in its action and comedy genres, the previous installments of "Tied Time" achieved great success on a global scale: the first film grossed $244 million, the second - $347 million, and the third - $258 million.
However, currently, the comedy genre is not showing very successful results in cinemas. Jackie Chan is currently 71 years old, while Chris Tucker hasn't played the lead since 2007. And those who are waiting for the new film are eagerly awaiting their return.
The exact release date of the film is not yet known.
